Roberta Miller and Alan Medville:
Connie Henry has been a force for the betterment of our town for decades. We have known Connie for over 40 years and have worked together on many community initiatives; initially as fellow founding members of the Watertown Citizens for Environmental Safety, while working with the Army on the removal of the decommissioned nuclear reactor on the Arsenal Site and since then on many initiatives in support of the arts, education, and to improve the overall quality of life in Watertown.
Connie is a steadfast, even tempered, open, thoughtful and delightful team member. She brings a wonderful combination of intelligence, compassion, and hard-work to every difficult problem she has worked on. She has an enormous heart, great values, and would be a wonderful mind and voice on the Town Council.
Susan Falkoff, former At-Large Councilor
In my experience, what makes a great town councilor is common sense, an open mind, a collaborative approach, and a commitment to fairness. Connie Henry has these qualities in abundance and a zestful energy that is a delight to her many friends. Her activism on the environment and her support of the arts are well known. As a Town Councilor, Connie will weigh all sides of an issue, and represent the interests of District D with wisdom and diligence.
John Portz, Chairman, School Committee, Watertown Public Schools
& Former District D Councillor
I have known Connie for over 20 years. She is an educator, parent, and long-time resident of District D. She will bring a valuable perspective to the Town Council.
The Watertown Chapter of 350 Mass Action
The Watertown Chapter of 350 Mass Action, a statewide network committed to a just transition for a climate-safe world, endorses Connie Henry for Town Council, District D. In their letter of endorsement, they stated that they look forward to the opportunity to work together to “continue to develop policies that will demonstrate Watertown's leadership role in responding to the climate crisis.”
Tony Palomba, Councilor At-Large
I enthusiastically endorse Connie to serve as the District D Councilor. Why? Because she knows the issues that the residents of District D care about. As an active and engaged resident, parent, and grandparent of Watertown for over 40 years she brings a depth of experience that will benefit District D and all of Watertown. Most importantly she knows the value of listening and learning before acting, but always acting with compassion and conviction. The residents of District D deserve an experienced, committed leader on the Town Council, they will get that when they vote for Connie.
Caroline Bays,Councilor At-Large
I strongly support Connie Henry for District D’s next town councilor. She is a thoughtful, engaged, longtime resident who understands Watertown and the needs and priorities of District D. I am proud to endorse her and I recommend the residents of District D vote for her on November 2nd!
